ANTHONY MOORE

Founder, Chairman & CEO

Anthony ('Tony') Moore has 40+ years experience in the global financial services industry having lived and worked in 6 countries, 9 cities and transacted business in another 20+ countries in his long and distinguished career. Most notably,Tony opened and managed the Goldman Sachs (Asia) Ltd office based in Hong Kong; was Head of Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs Japan in Tokyo and subsequently Executive Director at Goldman Sachs Ltd in London where he had responsibility for UK privatisations and relationships with a large number of Footsie 100 companies. Following his career at Goldman Sachs he held, among other positions, Member of the Board of Banker's Trust Int'l and Chairman of Corporate Finance at BZW, Barclays Bank's investment banking subsidiary. Tony has also held senior positions in industry including President & CEO of New Energy Ventures Technologies in Los Angeles, one of the early entrants into the deregulating US power industry.  Tony has served, and still very much serves, as Chairman and/or Board Director of a large number of public and private companies in the USA,Europe and Asia/Pacific. His experience covers capital markets financing, equity fund raising , cross-border mergers & acquisitions, project finance, real estate, precious metals, asset management (including alternative investments) and wealth advisory. He has particular experience in guiding start up and emerging companies through to an exit, either trade sale or IPO. Currently based in Istanbul, Tony is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Evrensel Capital Partners, a merchant bank and fund management company. He is particularly interested in providing strategic and financial advise to companies that have a significant humanitarian, or benefit for mankind, aspect in their offering.  Tony has an extensive global senior executive level network in government, public entities, financial institutions and corporate around the world.

Chuck has been involved in cutting-edge digital technology for over 20 years. A lifelong entrepreneur, he first embraced digital technology as a founder and CCO of Creative Fuzion, focusing on the amalgam of entertainment and hi-tech. A very early adopter of cryptocurrency, Chuck has long believed that cryptocurrency would be the disruptive technology of the 21 st century. This fascination with digital technology led to his partnering in the design and creation of several cryptocurrency and blockchain systems. Now the Managing Director of Global Digital Assets for ECP, Chuck continues to explore the vanguard of digital technology into modern business.

Director

Ciprian will be providing key expert advice, business insight and professional guidance on topics related to Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, Digital Currency, E-Money, e-Wallets, direction, processes, business development, sales and marketing of the products and services. Over 15 years’ experience in production environments and greenfield projects with extensive management skills in managing companies with 200+ employees. Implementing basic responsibilities that are associated with the Business Development Manager and General Manager position, examining the company’s competition to develop better development strategies, increasing profits for the company in general and establishing relations with a sales team or sales coordinator. For the last years deeply involved in mining operations and global Blockchain technology projects with cross-functional intent to investigate business disruptive emerging technologies, define appropriate strategies to maximize on presented opportunities while mitigating threats, and execute those strategies using a Blockchain network.

GERRY COOKE

Director Evrensel Project Management 'EPM'

Gerry is a highly qualified mechanical engineer with expressive experience in advising and assisting companies with new build projects mainly in the power generation and oil & gas sectors. His project management expertise comes from years of working for companies such as General Electric, Pratt & Whitney, Siemens, Rolls Royce, and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in the power generation sector. Most of these projects being new build 400Mw CCGT. With oil & gas and chemical plants, Gerry has worked for BP, ICI, Du Pont, NNPC and ENI, being involved with major new build projects and major upgrades to existing plants. Gerry’s speciality is enabling world class companies to construct projects to world class standards and also ensuring intervention of local content. This is critically important to the country in question as it permits the newer generation of young people to gain employment experience and be in a position to support their family by working on the project. In this manner, the overall education system is improved as well as the skill levels of the local people. Through his long involvement with power generation, oil and gas plus aviation, Gerry brings a broad range of knowledge, experience, expertise and contacts to ECP for project management and project execution. With the support and help of the ECP team, he is convinced there is a golden opportunity to deliver a TOTAL SOLUTION to any project undertaken for our global client base, current and prospective. Gerry has worked in the Shetland Islands, UK, Iraq, Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Tanzania, South Africa, Libya and Israel bringing added value and experience to projects in challenging environments where not only the terrain was dangerous but security was paramount. Gerry is justifiably proud of projects always being delivered as assigned. Gerry was born in Ireland which will be his base for ECP PM and from where he will travel as required.

As Director of Evrensel Logistics, Erich’s main objective is helping the industry by adapting to new technologies, staying competitive, expanding into new markets and increasing profitability. His expertise comes with over three decades as a professional global Manager in the Freight- and Logistics sector and profound Advisor & Consultant to various industries. With additional extensive knowledge in the fields of Finance and Business Process Auditing, Restructuring of entire Companies, Strategic Planning, Exploration of new markets and Business opportunities, Erich has worked for multi-billion Dollar Corporations and is successfully serving Clients mainly in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Director Africa

Chris is a highly experienced investment professional with over 30 years of experience advising global Institutional and UHNWI clients including being an invited participant in a high-level UK business delegation to the UAE and Qatar. Currently he is working with City of London institutions in the Compliance sector.

His early career was trading South African mining stocks and this kick started a fascination with Africa and he has since lived and worked in South Africa and Nigeria. In addition to his expertise in the financial markets Chris brings expertise in other areas of business having owned a small chain of retail shops in the UK and serving as the Rector of a prestigious polytechnic level college in Nigeria.

HARVEY SAHDRA

Director Digital Innovation

With over 20 years of experience in providing technology services to both the private and public sectors across organisations of all sizes, Harvey will be offering his expertise and input relating to projects involving DLT (Distributed Ledger Technologies/Business Blockchain), AI (Artificial Intelligence), Big Data and Machine Learning. Harvey is currently involved in a number of disruptive and transformational technology projects where he is assisting teams in project direction, marketing strategy and business development as well as providing technical direction and consultancy. His passions are ‘high impact’ projects, especially humanitarian and technology platforms that create value chain offerings in (but not restricted to) digital identity and cybersecurity.

LUKE BROWN

Associate Director

As a creative director, Luke invests his passion, time and innovation into every product that he works on. Currently undergoing his degree at the University of Gloucestershire in International Business Management. He has several years of experience in the field of e-commerce. He stated that his entire business mindset was ignited and adapted when he met, and viewed the story of success from Dato Michael Tio, founder of PKT Logistics, Malaysia and the legacy he has created. 

 

In his position with his company ZhygaGroup.com, Luke has established an excellent team of individuals, bringing in natural experienced leaders in their respective fields and aims to guide his company through its very own Tesla moment, and make a real difference to peoples lives. Joining ECP as Associate Director, Luke aims to bring his experience, energy and network to become a senior figure at just 21. A challenge he’s ready to live up to under the guidance of Mr. Tony Moore.

CHANA GREENBERG

Director Healthcare Innovation

Chana has 20 years experience in the startup and innovation space, transitioning from traditional investment banking at Barclays and JP Morgan to Buttonwood Capital, a hedge fund founded by a former Goldman Sachs partner, where she researched artificial spinal discs and dental implants. 

She is the Vice Chair of Hadassah UK, supporting Hadassah Hospital, Jerusalem, which shares a campus with the Hebrew University, both pioneers in medicinal cannabis since 1964. Chana helped to create the Hadaseed medical device and digital health fund for Hadasit- Hadassah Hospitals technology transfer arm. 

Chana is passionate about promoting the knowledge of the benefits of Cannabis- based products to improve health and wellbeing. She was business development lead at the Centre for Medicinal Cannabis from early 2019 and was most recently VP Business Development at Brains Bioceutical to help fast track the supply chain of their API licensed CBD for the pharmaceutical (human and veterinary), athletic and health and wellness markets.  

Chana holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from the University of Westminster, an MPhil in Finance from the University of Cambridge and completed SAID Business School's Private Equity Program at the University of Oxford.

Dev has 40 years+ experience in the hotel industry, global with special knowledge in Europe…having started the first corporate hotel booking agency in the 1970s, predating the OTAs (Online Travel Agency), and grew-up with the folks that leaders, movers and shakers in the global hotel business.
 

In more recent years, Dev set up a boutique hotel brokerage under the banner of The Hotel Property Team, acting as a specialist hotel estate agent – largely dealing with 100+ room hotels, four & five star in London, UK and capital cities in Europe. THPT produce a weekly report on “Recent Deals” – who did what last week and “Hotels Available” hotels and serviced apartments that are on the market, actively and in secret!

ULZIITOGTOKH AZJARGAL

Azjargal is currently running an impact investment fund aimed at supporting small medium enterprises with operations
positively impacting the environment and wider community. She is also a senior advisor to the Government of Mongolia
on economic policies. Azaa is a seasoned banker with 20 years of banking experience in manufacturing, mining,
agribusiness, services, consumer, energy, renewables, infrastructure, education, health, real estate and financial sectors in
Eastern Europe, CIS, Mongolia and Turkey.


She held leadership positions with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) responsible for deal
origination and execution of general industry projects with clients including Air Liquide, Lafarge/Holcim, ArcelorMittal,
Ford and Rio Tinto/Oyu Tolgoi naming few. She played a pivotal role in kick starting and developing EBRD operations in
Mongolia, where the Bank became the largest institutional investor with cumulative investments of over €1.5 bln during
her tenure at the EBRD.


Between (2013-2016) she headed EBRD operations in Mongolia was responsible for increasing EBRD investments in non-
mining sector by 75% and diversified the Bank portfolio in Mongolia. She participated in the award winning projects: $120
mln Salhit wind farm – US Treasury award, $1.2 bln Oyu Tolgoi project- Reuters awards, $230 mln Moncement project –
EBRD sustainability award and EBRD local management won best project management team award from the Forbes
Mongolia in 2014.


Prior to joining the EBRD, Azjargal worked for the Barclays Capital as an investment banker in London responsible for
energy sector trades in Asia, Europe and Americas. She also worked at the Supervision department of the Central Bank of
Mongolia and developed the 1st Non-bank financial institutions guideline/regulation and participated in the process
introducing the new accounts reporting standards for local banks.


Azjargal holds a Masters degree in Securities and Risk Management from ICMA (International Capital Markets
Association) Centre Business School (now known as a Henley Business School), United Kingdom, and degrees in Finance
and Business from University of Buckingham and Cambridge University, United Kingdom. Currently she is doing an
executive MBA degree at the Said Business School, Oxford University.


She received a leading finance professional in Mongolian banking and finance sector honour from the Central Bank of
Mongolia in 2011, the EBRD’s President’s award in 2013 for contribution to implementation of EBRD’s mandate and the
Polar star award, one of the highest honours in Mongolia, from the President of Mongolia in 2015 for contribution to the
Mongolia’s economic development and charitable causes and Honour by the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce
and Industry for her efforts supporting women led businesses and entrepreneurs in 2016.


Azjargal is WCD (Women Corporate Directors) Foundation’s founding member of Mongolia Chapter, JCI Senator – NGO
empowering young professionals and entrepreneurs and was member of ICMA investors’ club. She has a strong Board
experience and has sat on Boards of large industrial companies across Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Mongolia.

PATRICK BIGGER

Patrick Bigger is the CEO of Fox Automotive Switzerland AG and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Green Assets Holdings AG, both two Swiss based companies, which are focusing on electromobility (MIA car brand) and renewable energy. From 2009 until 2015 he has been the CEO of Acazis AG, a German company with focus on agriculture and forestry in Africa and was responsible for the restructuring of the predecessor company. With a professional background in the banking industry, he worked in Trading and Investment Banking in both Switzerland and London for several major international investment banks, including Deutsche Bank Capital Markets and Flemings. From 2003 until 2009 he worked as Sales Director for MWB Wertpapierhandelsbank AG, Munich, and was responsible for the Sales and Designated Sponsoring Department of the bank therefore responsible for sales, order execution for credit institutions and designated sponsoring for corporate and institutional clients. Over his extensive network he was approached for a number of capital market mandates, which he executed successfully in co- operation with MWB. The development of this area contributed so positively that MWB applied to the BaFin (Federal Institute for Financial Services, Germany) in the autumn of 2005, for permission to operate the “Emissionsgeschäft” (New Issue and Corporate Finance Business) and it was granted the license early in 2006.

PAUL GLENNON

Paul is a Principal of GlenQ Private Wealth and Family Office with over 25 years’ experience in private banking and offshore fiduciary administration. He began his career with Standard Chartered Bank, Jersey and has worked for several well-known British banking institutions including time with Coutts, Close Brothers and Kleinwort Benson both on and offshore in a number of senior positions. During this time, he worked closely with a diverse range of high-net worth clients and their families from the Middle East, Asia and Africa. He currently has a particular focus in West Africa, assisting clients with international structures to protect family wealth and ensuring the smooth flow of assets to the next generation. In addition, he is actively championing inward investment into the region, whether through offshore investment funds, or by direct investment, introducing prospective investors to blue-chip projects from his extensive network in the region.  Paul holds a Law degree from the University of Buckingham, a MSc in Risk Management from the University of Reading, he is a qualified trust professional (TEP) and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (MCSI).

RICHARD HAWKEN

Richard’s vision has always been to offer an unrivalled service to automotive collectors and enthusiasts, services he has often needed for his own personal car collection, but was never able to find. He is responsible for the day to day management of the company. Previously Richard was responsible for running the WMG Collectable Car Fund in Mayfair, London. His experience and expertise comes from alternative asset fund management, investment banking and automotive motorsport. Richard spent over 20 years trading Pan European Equities in the City of London for several international investment banks, where he was instrumental in over 400 company IPOs. He spent many years advising senior banking management on their exotic car collections, often called upon to buy or sell a particular marque. Richard races professionally in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, and over his 25-year racing career has claimed 3 championship titles in prestigious European Touring Car and GT championships. In 2015 he raced as a manufacturer driver for Nissan/Infiniti in the British Touring Car Championship. Richard has been collecting classic cars himself since the mid 1990’s. With the launch of EMM London, Richard is able to combine all the process and qualities of investment banking into the luxury automotive world.

JOHN KENNEDY

John Kennedy is an experienced investor and entrepreneur with over 30 years professional experience across the UK, Europe and Asia markets pioneering the Purpose Built Student Accommodation sector in the UK.  John joins QIP as a Strategic Advisor and Investor to QIP’s Co-living Real Estate investments.

  

Following a career in the City of London in senior roles with UK Life Offices, John Kennedy was a founder at the Brandeaux Group where he established and developed their global institutional client base from inception in 1996 until 2007. The Brandeaux Group were the first to present Student Accommodation as an asset class to a worldwide investor base. In 2015 their Student Portfolio was sold to the Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board for £1.1bn

 

He founded the Coral Portfolio fund platform in 2008.  The Fund was designed to offer risk controlled exposure to the growing purpose built student accommodation sector in the UK and globally. Over the last 10 years  this regulated EU Fund has delivered consistently strong annual returns for its investors. From 2014 he directed the sale of Coral Portfolio to industry giant The GSA Group who have rebranded the platform as GSA Coral Portfolio. The company now forms an integral part of GSA’s strategic growth as they progress towards 250,000 operational student beds globally within the next ten years. John remains on the board of GSA Coral is and more recently have overseen the  Fund’s global expansion while also partnering with GIC, Harrison Street Real Estate, Aviva Asia and Star Asia.

 

John is a founding Trustee of The Plant a Tree Foundation – a UK registered charity engaged in reforestation projects in SE Asia.

This law firm then became the London office of U.S. law firm, McGuireWoods, in 2009, where he served on the firm’s Board of Partners, was Co-Chair of the firm’s Private Equity Industry Team and was a Governing Partner of the London office.  Robert retired from McGuireWoods in June 2018.

Robert began his career as a lawyer with Davis Polk and Wardwell in New York; then gravitated to property development in Texas and California before entering the hospitality industry. During his career, Robert has overseen the development of Transco Tower, a 63 story landmark in Houston Texas, Silicon Valley Financial Center, a five-block mixed use development in San Jose California, 505 Montgomery Street, a 24-story office building in downtown San Francisco California and numerous hotels and resorts throughout the world. Currently active with hotel and property investments, development and advisory services Robert is working with select partners and clients in Asia, Europe and the United States to realize opportunities in the hospitality and real estate industry. Robert resides in and Park City, Utah and London. Robert was awarded his Juris Doctorate Degree from University of Virginia School of Law 1974 and Bachelor of Arts Degree from Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia 1970.

Vini is Founder, Parter & COO of Global Hemp Solutions. His expertise is in post processing, having designed several extraction systems for companies in the US, Europe and Asia that range from CO2 or ethanol extraction, including molecular distillation or fractional and include the most advanced techniques in chromatography such as HPLC, SMB, SFC

Vini has designed sytems which include processing millions of pounds per month of hemp or the ability to refine into different isolate cannabinoids using LPLC with resins and HPLC up to 150,000 liters per month. He represents the only company in the world that offers SFC/SMB chromatography setups to remediate THC from distillate oils down to 0.2ppm to make it non-detectable.

Vini has the experience, skills and ability to analyze and identify what actions are required in various business situations to get matters back on track and moving forward. He has managed large scale projects for the IMF, BBVA, BID, MENARINI, and IBM. He also served as a consultant to the Guatemalan president in technology and systems  information and 're-engineered' the two of the largest Central American financial institutions.

TREVOR WICKS

Trevor Wicks is a Senior Banker, having started his career at HSBC Group (Midland Bank) as an international banker, specialising in export finance Capital Projects, and then assets based finance, mainly for aircraft, focusing on Asia. Trevor was appointed Chairman of the Foreign and Commonwealth Banking Committee, negotiating trade matters with the Bank of England, and the other Banking Groups. Trevor was seconded to work with UNCTAD in Geneva, in order to develop MIGA (the Multi International Guarantee Agency), the fourth arm of the World Bank. He was then recruited by CIBC to head up their Trade Group, leading their team in Toronto, and their European Branches. He also lectured on trade issues in Canada, Japan and France. Following that Trevor went on to work with Mitsubishi Heavy Engineering and Rolls Royce, helping them to structure a major deal in  Hong Kong. Since retiring he has helped various companies, such as BAE Systems on a countertrade deal and Gems Education to secure a contract in Malaysia (including speaking on behalf of Gems on education at WIEF (the World Islamic Economic Forum)).  Trevor was then invited by the EU in Sweden to assist on an EU Social Fund program, which ultimately led to a lighting project with Volvo Technical Department, for Airbus Industries, together with Philips Electronics. Trevor then went back to Asia at the request of the Philippines duty-free shop in Manila (4th largest in the world), setting up trading of FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods); Thailand, Malaysia  Vietnam and Japan followed. Trevor was also able to introduce Tesco into Thailand and Malaysia, a business they sold for £3 billion. Latterly Trevor has been a Senior Advisor to both Claridon Group Limited, a British and international logistics group, and GA Drilling, a geothermal and oil & gas drilling company, headquartered in Slovakia. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts,  and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
